Wireless connection hiccups can occasionally occur, but they are usually very easy to resolve. If you are having trouble getting your easyplant Sensor connected to your phone or Wi-Fi network, please try these standard troubleshooting fixes:
Check your Wi-Fi Frequency: Our easyplant Sensor connects exclusively to standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks (not 5 GHz networks). If your phone automatically connects to a 5 GHz network, temporarily switch your phone’s network settings to your router's 2.4 GHz option (often labeled with a '2G' or '_2.4' at the end of the network name) and try pairing again.
Bring devices closer together: During the initial setup, make sure your easyplant Sensor, phone, and Wi-Fi router are all within a few feet of each other. Once the pairing process is fully complete, you can safely move your plant back to its permanent home!
Refresh your phone's connection settings:
For iPhone (iOS): Go to
Settings>Bluetooth, toggle Bluetooth off for 10 seconds, turn it back on, and then restart your phone. For Android: Go to
Settings>Apps>easyplant>Storageand tap Clear Cache. This removes temporary blocks without impacting your account.
Verify App Permissions: Ensure your phone is allowed to talk to the device. Android users must ensure that native Location Services are turned on, as Android requires this to scan for new Bluetooth devices. iPhone users should verify that Bluetooth permissions are enabled for the easyplant app under their main iOS Settings list.
