Tips on helping your plant settle in to your home.

Updated over 6 months ago

Your new easyplant has arrived and you might be curious to know how you can best help your new plant settle in to your home best.

Here's some tips!

  1. Unpack your plant right away on arrival, and add water to the reservoir.

  2. Trim off any damaged leaves with a clean, sharp pair of scissors. That way, your plant can focus its energy on putting out new, healthy growth. Not sure the best way to trim? Check out our guide here!

  3. Place your plant in the best light for its species! Your plant comes with a care guide and illustration to show you locations that will be right for it. You can also refer to our Plant Care Library to learn more about the care of your specific easyplant!

  4. Make sure your plant's space is free from excessive drafts from heating or cooling systems, hot or cold dry air blowing on them will make plants grumpy.

Give your plant time in its new location, plants like to have a consistent home to settle into, and frequent moves may upset it.

Note, some yellowing of leaves and even minor loss of foliage is expected in the first two weeks of your easyplant's arrival, but if your plant isn't thriving after the adjustment period is over, we're always here to help make things right.

We’re confident that these tips should help your plant thrive, in your home! Of course, if you have any concerns, about your plant, we're always here to help by email or chat as a part of our 90-day plant health guarantee. 💚
