At easyplant, we understand that sometimes plants may not thrive as expected or meet your needs. To ensure customer satisfaction, we offer a replacement policy. Below, you'll find detailed information about our policies, conditions, and processes for plant exchanges.

Overview of the 90-Day Plant Health Guarantee

We offer a 90-day plant health guarantee to ensure your plant arrives healthy and continues to thrive. If your plant shows signs of poor health within this period, you are eligible for a replacement at no additional cost. You do not need to return the original plant, and we will provide a tracking link once your replacement is shipped. Additionally, the original plant and pot are yours to keep, even if the plant arrived damaged or in poor condition. This policy ensures that plants, which are perishable, do not undergo unnecessary stress from return shipping.

Conditions for Replacements

1. Health Issues

If your plant becomes unhealthy shortly after purchase and you have taken proper care of it, you may be eligible for a replacement under the 90-day guarantee. However, if the plant is outside the guarantee period, a replacement may not be possible. In such cases, we may offer alternative resolutions, such as a partial refund or a discount code for your next purchase.

2. Size Preferences

Exchanging a plant for a larger or smaller size is not possible if the plant is in good condition. Due to the perishable nature of plants, we cannot accept returns or invoice for size upgrades. However, shipping is always free, so you can order a new plant in your preferred size at any time.

3. Aesthetic Concerns

While aesthetic concerns are not typically covered under our guarantee when the plant is otherwise healthy, replacement requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a replacement is approved, there’s no need to return the original plant, and you’ll receive a confirmation email along with tracking information once the order has been processed.

Exceptions and Limitations

  • Minor Imperfections: Minor imperfections that occur during the normal adjustment period after shipping are not eligible for exchange or replacement. Instead, we provide care guidance to help your plant adjust.

  • Return Policy: Due to the perishable nature of plants, we do not accept returns. If a plant is truly beyond recovery within 90 days, a replacement or full refund may be provided under the plant health guarantee. How to Request an Exchange or Replacement

  1. Contact our customer support team within the 90-day guarantee period.

  2. Provide details about the issue with your plant, including photos if possible.

  3. Specify your preferred replacement plant and pot color, if applicable.

  4. Wait for a confirmation email and tracking link for your replacement.

What to Do with Your Original Plant

If your original plant is still alive, you can continue to care for it. Here are some tips:

  • Trim Damaged Leaves: Use clean, sharp scissors to remove brown or damaged leaves and stems. This helps the plant focus its energy on new growth.

  • Adjust Light Conditions: If the plant is struggling, consider moving it to a location with less direct sunlight.

  • Repotting: If the plant is too damaged to recover, you can repot it in a new planter with fresh soil. Use a well-draining potting mix or coco coir for best results.

Reusing Pots and Accessories

The easyplant pot is designed for reuse. If you decide to repurpose the pot, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the Original Plant: Carefully remove the plant to avoid damaging the wick that draws water from the reservoir to the roots.

  2. Position the Wick: When planting a new plant, place the wick just below or to the side of the roots to ensure proper hydration.

  3. Add Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix or coco coir, which is widely available at home stores.

Additional Customer Accommodations

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds or discount codes for future purchases as a gesture of goodwill. These accommodations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
